It is with great pleasure and pride that we can announce to have opened our BeNeLux office!
After having successfully worked with sourcing projects in the Nordics for a couple of years, we have found the desire to expand our horizons. We will continue to serve the Nordic market, but have also identified the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg as a promising market. With Rotterdam and Antwerp as two of the main ports in Europe, we see that there are a number of opportunities in these countries. There are many large companies in this area who are into their second or maybe even third phase of sourcing journey. This is a journey we very much like to help them with!
Our aim is to continue to use our agile best practices in assisting our clients doing best possible sourcing decisions!
The BeNeLux office of Eskelund Consulting Services is located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, close to a historic areas full of windmills.
We are serving clients in a number of different sectors and will continue in doing so. By working in sectors like banking and energy, we are aware of the legislative changes imposed by directives like NIS 2 and DORA, which both have significant impact on the delivery of outsourced services. At the same time, we are aware of the trend where customers are looking more and more to procure agile teams working under the supervision of the client. This requires a different mindset and a different governance model between the different parties of the agreement. We have worked in a number of projects where we have made such agreements.
Then there is obviously the cloud. No sourcing agreements exists without taking into consideration the cloud. Vendors like Microsoft or AWS are typically almost always part of anu vendor ecosystem. This has to be taken into account when agreements are drafted.
Last, but not least, sustainability is and will be an important part of any sourcing agreement going forward. We have joined UN Global Compact, and sustainability is important for us. We would like to “push” clients as well as vendor to make sure that sustainability is an integrated part of any new sourcing agreement.
Please do get in touch if you like to discuss how we might help you and your company in the BeNeLux!
